Early mornings in the Black Spur

June 11th, 2018 by

Although I’ve gone through the Black Spur a handful of times I’ve never really shot it so I set out early one morning recently with my girlfriend and we trekked around a few locations along with a road side pull over and I finally got the ball rolling. My main intension was drone shots and once the rain cleared (and the fog) i was able to get some shots I was happy with.

Shot with a DJI Mavic Pro along with a Sony A7S and a Nikon D800.

Morning fog in Dixons Creek

June 9th, 2018 by

Last week I got up early and headed out about 45 minutes from my place to the Yarra Valley and up near Kinglake chasing fog and getting some drone shots. I got pretty lucky and scored a bunch I was happy with. Most of these were shot in the Dixons Creek area along with the Kinglake area.

Shot with a Nikon D800 and a DJIMavic Pro Drone.

Travel Life – Marysville

May 13th, 2015 by

When my good friend Daniel Johnson mentioned he was heading out early morning in the hunt of possible snow an hour from our homes I had to be in on the mission as I’ve never really been around snow let alone shot it. We ended up getting really lucky at the second location which was near Marysville in Victoria. We could see snow on the top of the mountain as we got close and as soon as we stopped driving it started snowing even more. We ran around shooting as much as possible and even caught a few minutes of blue sky so we tried to make the most of it all. I have placed them in the order they were shot to show the change in weather conditions.

I also now have an online store where you can order any image I have shot and have it sent printed on high quality museum grade paper. Hit this link to check that out.
